Compensation: $160/day, $80/half-day
About Cristo Rey Jesuit High School
Cristo Rey Jesuit (CRJ) Milwaukee is part of a national network of 38 high schools transforming urban education through a unique integration of college-prep academics, professional experience, and spiritual formation. At CRJ’s new $35 million Clarke Square campus at 18th St. and National Ave, just across the Menomonee Valley from Marquette University, Cristo Rey serves a diverse student body of about 425 young men and women and 250 alumni. Students attend class four days per week and work in a professional setting one day per week through our innovative Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP). It is the collective mission of our staff to ensure that our students gain admission to—and ultimately graduate from—college. In pursuit of that goal, Cristo Rey teachers collaborate, reflect, and practice in order to maximize their impact each day.

- Associate’s degree with substitute licensure, or bachelor’s degree
- Ability to implement a lesson plan and maintain a responsive, college-prep learning environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Student-centered orientation
- Facility with, or ability to learn how to use, classroom technology (laptop, projector, educational software)
