LINNEA JOHNSON

Director of Admissions

Linnea is a mission-driven leader with over 12 years of dedicated service to the Cristo Rey mission, spanning multiple schools across the Cristo Rey Network. Now in her fifth year at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School Milwaukee, Linnea has returned to her hometown to continue her lifelong commitment to education and service.

A proud Milwaukee native and graduate of the University of Minnesota, Linnea is also a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer. Throughout her career, she has held a variety of academic and leadership roles at Cristo Rey Twin Cities, Cristo Rey Brooklyn, and Cristo Rey Milwaukee. Her work reflects a deep understanding of academic excellence, the vital role of community partnerships in advancing the mission, and a strong advocacy for the students and families we serve.

Linnea brings bilingual strengths, a wealth of experience in admissions, and an unwavering dedication to service. Her long-standing connection to Cristo Rey, paired with her personal ties to the Milwaukee community, informs every decision she makes on behalf of our students, families, and school. She represents Cristo Rey Milwaukee with a clear focus on student success, community collaboration, and sustainable growth.

Outside of her work, Linnea enjoys spending time outdoors with friends and family (especially when the weather cooperates), is an avid long-distance runner, loves playing soccer, exploring international destinations, and taking long walks with her dog, Kobe.
