Inspired by AP Seminar, a junior course, Humanities Seminar is an innovative freshman course organized around high-interest units based on relevant, nuanced topics such as immigration, technology, and food production and obesity. Humanities Seminar engages students in the core habits of the humanities: active reading, thoughtful discussion, argumentative writing, and language development in English and in Spanish.

College Counselor

As part of Cristo Rey Jesuit’s counseling team, you will blend ambitious vision with clear systems thinking to leverage your extensive knowledge of college admissions, matriculation, financial aid, on-campus resources, and college-success skills to nurture and sustain a college-going culture at CRJ.

English Teacher

English III: American Literature is the third course in the four-year CRJ sequence in English. Juniors engage with a diverse range of imaginative literature and nonfiction integrated into units that explore American identities and histories. In addition, students build on the groundwork laid in English I, Humanities Seminar, and English II World Literature to deepen their base of literary knowledge and hone their reading, writing, discussion, and analysis skills.

Marketing Communications Internship

Cristo Rey Jesuit High School is looking for a motivated individual to join the advancement team this summer/fall.

Science Teacher

Through a variety of learning experiences and inquiry-based activities, juniors in Biology and seniors who elect into AP Biology investigate the nature of living things, from molecules to cells to organisms and communities. Through labs, readings, and discussion, students explore key themes in biology, such as evolution, genetics, and immunology, Building on their previous science courses, students hone their scientific thinking, inquiry, and communication skills.

Science Teacher

Through a variety of learning experiences and inquiry-based activities, sophomores in Chemistry investigate the structure and nature of matter and the changes it undergoes. Environmental Science, a senior elective, integrates knowledge and methodologies from several scientific disciplines to understand the environment and environmental challenges. In both courses, students hone scientific thinking, inquiry, and communication skills.

As part of Cristo Rey’s motivated and collaborative teaching staff, you will educate students in mind and spirit. Through engaging, data-informed instruction that effectively incorporates technology, you will ensure students are prepared for college and equipped with the habits of mind that undergird success.

Technology Coordinator

Under the supervision of the Director of Finance and Operations or his/her designee, the technology coordinator will coordinate computer technology functions at the high school, including installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, technical support, prepares essential data reports and performs related duties as assigned.

Theology Teacher

Salvation History and The Church are semester-long required theology courses for sophomores. Through reading, discussion, and reflection, students explore the personal redemptive activity of God within human history. In addition, students investigate the function, structure, membership, and role of the Catholic Church in the world. In addition, students deepen their relationship with God and hone their thinking, reflection, and communication skills. 

Van Drivers for Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP)

Under the supervision of the Director of Corporate Work Study Program or his/her designee, the Van Driver will be responsible for safely, professionally, and efficiently transporting students to and from work placements in Milwaukee, WI in a Cristo Rey Jesuit van and performing activities related to the operation of the van.
