We’re so proud of the entire Cristo Rey Jesuit student body for their hard work and pursuit of excellence. Students demonstrated commitment to their education as they gracefully shifted to online learning earlier this spring. They maintained an attendance rate of 95% as they finished their 2020 academic year.
The class of 2020 wrapped up classes on Thursday, May 28. Please join us in recognizing and celebrating the accomplishments of the 94 seniors who are graduating from Cristo Rey High School this summer! 100% of the graduating class has been accepted to a four-year college. Seniors received over 680 college acceptances nationwide–roughly seven college acceptances per student! They also received over $2.3 million in grants, scholarships and other financial aid packages to support their higher-education financial investment.
All of us at CRJ are excited to celebrate their accomplishments and know this class has the first-hand experience in how to adapt to change successfully. The COVID-19 pandemic affected the second half of this past Spring semester and our students quickly embraced change, transitioning to virtual learning and adapting to new situations. CRJ Seniors received a special message from Dr. Anthony Fauci, as he celebrates the class of 2020 and shares how he draws on his Jesuit education every day. Hear Dr. Fauci’s inspirational message.
